Meet the Asheville Team
Sheila Bivins, Manager, has over 30 years industry experience working for a manufacturer and various equipment dealerships, specializing in institutional kitchens, meal delivery, design, and table top. She has background in sales and marketing. Sheila a native of Asheville and has also lived in New Jersey, Richmond and Charlotte. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters, reading and finds peace at the beach.
Laura Oliver, Operations Manager, grew up in and around the food service industry and has a background in healthcare foodservice. She has been at FRS Asheville for 12 years. Laura is married and is a proud Mom of a son and a daughter. She spends her spare time volunteering with the Asheville Humane Society, Mitchell County Animal Rescue, Charles George VA Medical Center (long term care unit), HOPE and Christ's Hand.
Dino Zourzoukis, Warehouse Manager, grew up in his family's Three Brothers Restaurant, an Asheville landmark. He is mechanical and a jack-of-all-trades. There is not any task in a restaurant that he has not performed! He loves to fish, loves adventure and plans to retire along a coast ( not yet sure if it will be the Carolina coast or a Greek Isle which he plans on buying if he wins the lottery). Dino is a twin, so if you think you are seeing double....you are, it is his twin Jimmy!
McLane Phillips, Sales Associate, is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Political Science. McLane served his time as a congressional intern, got his wits about him and decided DC was not for him, returning to the Carolinas. He worked his way through college as a waiter and as now joined our sales team where he can put his gift of showmanship and filibustering to good use as a counter sales person. Mclane was recently married to his sweet wife Anna.
John Giezentanner, Sales Associate, was born in Wilmington, NC, and graduated in 2008 from Topsail High School. He went on to study at CFCC and then transferred to UNCW. John moved from Wilmington to Asheville in 2013 and worked in warehouses and restaurants prior to joining the FRS team. He is often seen at trivia events and Brew & View enjoying good times and friends. As a side note, never challenge John’s Star Wars knowledge!
George Baumann, Design Engineer, has worked for the Asheville showroom and FRS for many years. He has extensive CAD experience and now works part-time. George spends his free time with his wife, Beth, daughter and granddaughter.
Eddie Murray, Dishwasher Technician, is mechanical and methodical. He enjoys camping, fishing, playing golf and most outdoor activities. Eddie much prefers comedy over drama. He has lived in Western North Carolina his whole life.
Matthew Grant, Outside Sales Associate, has many years of experience working in the kitchen (holding every job from busser to executive chef) and has an IT degree from AB Tech. He has lived in Asheville for 36 years, has been with his wonderful wife for 18 years (married 9 of those year) and is a father to two young boys that are his world. Matt's past restaurant experience has given him knowledge of restaurant layout and flow as he was part of new store development with a very successful restaurant chain that started in Asheville. In his spare time, he is usually chasing after his energy filled children or doing a household project with his wife.
Gavyn Leavitt, Sales Associate & Warehouse team member, was born in Louisiana and lived in Columbus, Georgia prior to moving to WNC where he attended high school in Morganton. He is an accomplished musician and plays multiple instruments. Gavyn attended Montreat and Anderson College with a major in Music Business. He has worked in various kitchens and was most recently employed by Biltmore Estate before joining FRS. Gavyn enjoys music and cross-country running.
Daniel Norton, Warehouse /Delivery team member , is a WNC native. He has three children who keep him very busy outside of work. Daniel is an accomplished guitarist and, if you’re lucky, you will catch him at one of his regular gigs or maybe even busking in downtown. If you are in the store while he is on his lunch break, you may even be entertained by him while he practices. He enjoys cooking, playing music, movies and board games.
