Meet the Asheville Team
Sheila Bivins, Manager, has over 30 years industry experience working for a manufacturer and various equipment dealerships, specializing in institutional kitchens, meal delivery, design, and table top. She has background in sales and marketing. Sheila a native of Asheville and has also lived in New Jersey, Richmond and Charlotte. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters, reading and finds peace at the beach.
Laura Oliver, Assistant Manager, grew up in and around the food service industry and has a background in healthcare foodservice. She has been at FRS Asheville for 12 years. Laura is married and is a proud Mom of a son and a daughter. She spends her spare time volunteering with the Asheville Humane Society, Mitchell County Animal Rescue, Charles George VA Medical Center (long term care unit), HOPE and Christ's Hand.
Dino Zourzoukis, Warehouse Manager, grew up in his family's Three Brothers Restaurant, an Asheville landmark. He is mechanical and a jack-of-all-trades. There is not any task in a restaurant that he has not performed! He loves to fish, loves adventure and plans to retire along a coast ( not yet sure if it will be the Carolina coast or a Greek Isle which he plans on buying if he wins the lottery). Dino is a twin, so if you think you are seeing double....you are, it is his twin Jimmy!
McLane Phillips, Sales Associate, is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Political Science. McLane served his time as a congressional intern, got his wits about him and decided DC was not for him, returning to the Carolinas. He worked his way through college as a waiter and as now joined our sales team where he can put his gift of showmanship and filibustering to good use as a counter sales person. Mclane is single and uses his boyish charm to woo the ladies.
Ryan LeBlanc, Sales Associate, has a Culinary Arts degree and practical experience in commercial kitchens. His most recent work experience was with Cúrate and Gàn Shān Station. Ryan has also served as an adjunct teacher with AB Tech's culinary department.
Catherine Dreessen Ortiz, Sales Associate, grew up in the restaurant industry. Many of her family members are or were owners of restaurants in NC and SC. She has over 20 years of restaurant and customer service experience. Catherine is also a native of Asheville. She speaks 3 languages (Spanish, Greek and English). She is married with 3 children, 2 boys and a girl, and 2 cats. Catherine has no free time, so she has no hobbies, besides being a mom and wife.
Dan Willson, Warehouse and Installation, has a experience in sales and management and is a life-long resident of the Asheville area. He has watched the funky progression take place over the years! In his off time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and friends including his better half Lindsey and two kids, Nolan and Molly. He loves watching them stay active in all their sports activities while keeping up with his own active life spent in the gym. Dan loves vacations at his beach house in Myrtle Beach... give him warm weather and sun shine always! He also loves animals, and his best pal is their little dog Daisy.
George Baumann, Design Engineer, has worked for the Asheville showroom and FRS for many years. He has extensive CAD experience and now works part-time. George spends his free time with his wife, Beth, daughter and granddaughter.
Eddie Murray, Dishwasher Technician, is mechanical and methodical. He enjoys camping, fishing, playing golf and most outdoor activities. Eddie much prefers comedy over drama. He has lived in Western North Carolina his whole life.
