Bitty & Beau’s WDSD celebration began with a celebrity guest appearance from Mayor Tecklenburg, who delivered an official proclamation about Charleston’s observance of Down Syndrome Day. Cheers to Owner Amy Wright, General Manager Kyra Masuga and the entire Bitty & Beau’s team for raising awareness, championing acceptance and illustrating how individuals with Down Syndrome can and are making important contributions to our community!

Bitty & Beau’s Charleston Debut

Bitty & Beau’s opened in February of this year at 159 Church Street. This is the second Bitty & Beau’s location, and the FRS Charleston team had the distinct pleasure of assisting with the renovation. 159 Church, which formerly housed a pet boutique, was outfitted with all new equipment including the following items from FRS…

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee advocates for the value, inclusion and acceptance of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs). The original shop, located in Wilmington, NC, opened in January of 2016. Two years later and with two locations, the company now employs 40 individuals with IDDs.
