Kickin' Chicken Celebrates 20 Years

This past summer we told you about FRS Charleston's involvement with the beautiful new Kickin' Chicken location on Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant (read article).  Kickin' Chicken has been a great customer of ours over the years, and we would like to congratulate them on their 20 year anniversary!

The company got its start at a Morrison Drive location back in 1997 under the ownership of Chip Roberts and Bobby Perry. They eventually teamed up David Miller after they opened their second James Island location, and the successful restaurant concept has remained locally owned and operated. They are now serving up chicken in five locations in the Charleston area (James Island, West Ashley, Downtown, Mount Pleasant and Summerville).

To celebrate this milestone, they have been having a party all week with beer and food specials offering throwback 1997 pricing. Through Sunday, November 19th, customers can enjoy the following deals...

  • $1.97 Bud & Bud Light
  • $3.97 Craft Drafts
  • $5.97 Specialty Cocktails
  • $0.97 Sweet Teas
  • $0.97 Kid Meals
  • $5.97 Buffalo Dip
  • $5.97 3 Piece Tenders
  • $5.97 Kickin' Chicken Sandwiches

Anytime is a good time to eat at Kickin' Chicken, but we encourage you to pay them a visit at a location near you this weekend to join us in celebrating their success. FRS Charleston especially loves working with local, independent restaurants as they are the ones who keep Charleston's food scene eclectic, authentic and interesting. Kudos to Kickin' Chicken for making their mark over the past 20 years and cheers to many more!
